Description
Put a sunny day, the wind in your hair, your skin warmed by the sun rays and a nice ride in an enchanted place. Add to it wonderful views and landscapes and typical buildings that exude the history and traditions of one of the most fascinating Italian regions, Puglia. And here is the result: a bike tour among ancient Apulian villas, suggestive farmhouses, sea and countryside. An excursion by bike to feel fit, enjoying the refreshment that nature offers and the cultural curiosities that the expert PlacenPeople community's organizers will be happy to share with you. Some tours include tastings and lunch stops in trattorias to taste wines or typical Apulian dishes. Get ready for a special day!
Costs
The fee is variable, depending on the tour characteristics. The pure short excursion usually costs € 20, while a day tour with a stop and lunch included is in the range of € 75 per person, including the rental of trekking bikes or mountain bikes. In some cases, any meals or tastings in typical places will be optional and not included in the cost of the tour.
Where
The bikers of PlacenPeople community will accompany you on excursions in the Itria Valley, on Gargano and in Gallipoli area, in the Natural Park of Porto Selvaggio. Some of them, in case of large groups booking together, are available to customize the excursion on request.
If the announcement is only in italian, the activity is held in italian. An english translator is available on request.
Duration and Period
Depending on the location, bike tours can last from 2 to 7 hours.
The recommended period is from spring to autumn (April-October).
Available places
Groups starts from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 25 participants, depending on the type of excursion. If there is availability, a single person can join an existing group. It's necessary to wait for confirmation from our organizer.
How to book

📩- PlacenPeople will send your request to the Organizer and reply with his confirmation
💳- You can pay a deposit of 20% or you can pay all in advance, with PayPal or card. Activities in PlacenPeople are sold directly by the Organizers.
👍- You and the Organizer will talk by phone and meet on the day of the activity. You will complete the payment directly to him/her.
Cancellation
By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).
