An exciting experience awaits you! The Ionian Sea is full of friendly bottlenose dolphins, make the most of your holiday in Puglia and do not miss this exclusive excursion dedicated to the sighting of the dolphin, the most loved aquatic animal by all. You will go out by boat together with our expert organizers to meet these wonderful animals, reaching a distance of about 6 miles from the coast. Sighting rates of 90%.
Costs
The fee is € 58 per person for adults, € 38 for children, however it may change for some organizers depending on the period and the boat used (chat with PlacenPeople for info); some PlacenPeople organizers instead offer a price per boat of 280 €, regardless of group size -max 7 pers- plus 40€ per each additional guests (from 8 to 20). Discounts are possible for children up to 10 years old.
Starting time
The boat trip lasts an average of 2 - 3 hours, sometimes even more (4h). The recommended period is from spring to autumn (April-October). Usually departures are in the morning. The Organizer will communicate the time during reservation.
How to get there
Our organizers depart from various points in the Gulf of Taranto (see below the blue icons with the doplhin). The starting point will be identified by the organizer during the booking based on the availability of seats on the boat. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the departure agreed with the organizer. After booking it will be possible to speak by phone for more details.
Language
The organizers speak a very basic English (but this is not a problem for enjoying the tour).
How to book

💳- You can pay a deposit of 20% or you can pay all in advance, with PayPal or card. Activities in PlacenPeople are sold directly by the Organizers.
👍- You and the Organizer will talk by phone and meet on the day of the activity. You will complete the payment directly to him/her.
Cancellation
By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the sea conditions: in case of unfavorable weather, the organizer can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
