A romantic seaside town, Trani offers amazing photographic panoramas and is often the scene of international concerts. Chosen by Frederick II of Swabia as a maritime fortress and as the seat of one of its most beautiful Apulian castles, Trani preserves one of the most interesting historical and artistic heritages in the region, where it is possible to admire medieval remains up to noble palaces of the '700. The exploration cannot fail to include the majestic coastal cathedral, a symbol of this town that combines the poetry of its waterfront with the liveliness of a sparkling nightlife.
About the tour
The guided tour of Trani on foot, immersed in the romantic atmosphere of the town, is recommended to savor all the architectural and cultural details.All the organizers of the PlacenPeople community who will accompany you on cultural tours are qualified professional tour guides who will be able to show you the most hidden pearls and tell the history of the places by adding curiosities that only the locals know. Costs (and inclusions)
The participation fee for a cultural (walking) tour is € 25 per person and includes the activity of the tour guide, while it doesn't include meals or anything else.

Duration and Period
The guided tours have a duration of about 2 hours and almost all the organizers leave freedom of choice on the departure time. We recommend spending half a day in Trani, and dedicating the other half to visiting a second place, such as the famous Castel del Monte, full of esoteric mysteries, or another wonderful Apulian village that our team will be able to recommend. Available all year round.
Available places
Tours generally start with groups of 2 to 25 participants, but many organizers are flexible and also start with one person, or with groups larger than 25. On tours where you visit only one city, you meet directly on site: the organizer will indicate the meeting point immediately after booking, often agreeing this point with the guest.
Alternatively, if you choose a two-stage day tour (check tours of 2 locations) our organizers are available to offer - often free of charge - a ride by car (in the case of a few people) or to organize transport by bus or minibus (in case of groups).
