Description
Do you want an exciting flight in the skies of Puglia and Basilicata (or even Calabria)? You fly early in the morning, because the wind conditions are more favorable, and the picturesque landscape at dawn is like postcards!
We take care of everything for safety, the organizers of PlacenPeople community are certified ENAC (National Agency for Civil Aviation) and with a very long flight experience.
The experience starts with a briefing, a small flying lesson. After that, the take off. You'll have the opportunity to take some wonderful photographs, and you'll be among the very few who have ever experienced a hot air balloon flight. The flight will last about an hour, and at the end you will be given a flight certificate. In addition, at the end of the flight you will also have time for a tasting of local products!
Costs
The cost is up to the conditions of the flight (starting point, etc) and it starts from € 250 per person. The tasting of typical local products is also included. What is not mentioned is not included.
Where
Hot air balloon places: 
Depending on the city chosen for the departure, the Organizer will accurately communicate the take-off point, where you must be 10-15 minutes before departure. After booking it will be possible to speak by phone for more details. For those leaving in Matera, a small free transport within the city area is possible by our Organizer.
Duration and Period
We leave very early in the morning for reasons related to the wind. At 6:00 am, the initial briefing begins, followed by an hour of flight, and finally breakfast. The total duration is approximately 3:00 hours. After booking, the Organizer communicates more precise times, which may depend on weather conditions.
Available places
If there is availability, even a single person can join an already created group. It is necessary to wait for confirmation from our organizer. However, a minimum of 2 people is required to start a new flight. The maximum number of participants is between 8 and 10, depending on the balloon used, so it is also possible to organize team building or experiences within incentive trips.
How to book

📩- PlacenPeople will send your request to the Organizer and reply with his confirmation. It is highly recommended to book at least a week in advance.
💳- You can pay a deposit of 20% or you can pay all in advance, with PayPal or card. Activities in PlacenPeople are sold directly by the Organizers.
👍- You and the Organizer will talk by phone and meet on the day of the activity. You will complete the payment directly to him/her.
Cancellation
By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case of unfavorable weather, the organizer can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
